South Carolina authorities are looking for a man they say killed his uncle and left his body in a culvert behind a shed near his home.
The Spartanburg County Sheriff’s Office began investigating a missing person case on July 5 and eventually found the man’s body behind the shed, according to WSPA.
Further investigation led them to charge 23-year-old Jose Isabel Arias-Lopez with murder and possession of a weapon during a violent crime. He has not been seen since the victim went missing.
Deputies said Arias-Lopez goes by the street name “Chavelo” and should be considered armed and dangerous.
The victim’s identity has not been released.
