Police in Albuquerque, New Mexico, have arrested a second suspect in connection to a fatal shooting — and the suspect is the son of a federal agent.

Thomas Acee, 21, was arrested on Dec. 5 after investigators tied him to the August shooting death of Michael Tubb, 13, who was in a vehicle that Acee allegedly fired at during a shooting incident on Aug. 18. Another unnamed teenager who was in the car was also injured but survived. Acee faces several felony charges related to the shooting including an open count of murder in the first degree.

News coverage of the arrest also pointed out that Acee is the son of FBI Special Agent Bryan Acee, who is well-known in the region and makes occasional appearances in the local media to discuss crime-related issues.
