Sister of Kentucky Woman Charged With Killing, Dismembering Their Mother Says a BROTHER Orchestrated the Murder

The sister of a Kentucky woman charged with killing and dismembering their mother earlier his month has accused the siblings’ brother of orchestrating the murder.

Telby Fields, 31, filed for a protection order against her brother, 42-year-old Truitt Fields, of threatening to kill her and others, the Lexington Herald Leader reported.

“When my body is found, Truitt Fields murdered me,” Telby Fields wrote in her petition of the temporary restraining order, which was granted on October 11.

Trudy Fields, the Fields’ siblings’ mother, was found dead at her Roberson County home on October 9 — with some of her body parts cooked in the kitchen stove, as CrimeOnline reported. Her 32-year-old daughter, Torilena Fields, was arrested and charged with abuse of a corpse. Days later she was charged with her mother’s murder.

According to WDKY, Torilena Fields had recently returned to Kentucky after a time in California, where she appeared in two films and was attempting to make a career in movies under the name Naomi or Nao Navarre.

“She was an actress and doing her thing out there, and I guess we were told a couple of months ago that she was in a bad motorcycle accident and sustained a brain injury,” a cousin told the station. “And was, I guess, wandering around Cali. Didn’t know her name. Didn’t know where she belonged. I guess people were trying to get her help down there and couldn’t get it done, so that’s when Trudy stepped in to help.”

Telby Fields appeared to say her brother, who also lived in California, took advantage of her sister’s injury.

“My mother was butchered by my sister under his advisement,” Telby Fields wrote in the petition, according to WCPO.

“He is on his way as I write this to kill me and take everything he thinks is his,” she wrote in the petition. “Please give me this order. Without it, I AM next. Please help me save not just my life, but countless future victims.”

Truitt Fields was ordered to surrender his guns as part of the protective order, which was served on October 15 in Calipatria, California, a small city about 140 miles east of San Diego. He has a court appearance scheduled for October 29 in Roberson County, according to the Herald Leader.
