A Tennessee man whose fatal shooting of a grandmother as she held her grandson in her front yard, which was captured in a Facebook Live video, will spend the rest of his life in prison.

Darrell Peterson, 39, was sentenced to life plus 25 years on Friday for the 2020 murder of Patricia Draper Bryant, 55, the Shelby County District Attorney’s Office announced in a news release. Peterson was convicted in May of first-degree murder and other related charges.
