Zach Bryan’s security guard is pulled over for speeding by an Oklahoma State trooper. Bryan, traveling behind him in his truck, pulls up alongside. When he gets out of the truck to ask why it’s taking so long, the trooper tells him to get back inside. He refuses, and the trooper tells him to get in or go to jail. Bryan chooses jail, later telling the trooper he was “just being a smartass” but also that “this is why people do not like police officers.”

His security guard later calls Bryan’s dad, who tells the trooper he’s going to call the governor about the incident. “That’s fine,” the trooper replies.
