SEE IT: Footage Released of Cops Stopping Accused Idaho College Killer Twice in Indiana

Accused murderer Bryan Kohberger was pulled over by police two times following the murders of four University of Idaho students.

As CrimeOnline previously reported, the first stop happened at 10:41 a.m. on December 15, by a Hancock County Sheriff’s deputy. The deputy let him off with a warning for following too closely.

New footage shows the moment the deputy approached Kohberger after pulling him over outside of Indianapolis, off of I-70. Kohberger’s father was in the passenger seat.

According to the footage, father and son told the deputy that a “SWAT team” descended on Washington State University, where Kohberger said he worked, and that they were driving home to Pennsylvania.

“Well, we’re coming from WSU,” Michael Kohberger said.

Deputy: “So you’re coming from Washington State University, and you’re going where?”

Michael Kohberger: “We’re going to Pennsylvania.”

The deputy allowed the pair with a warning to not follow other vehicles too closely. Ten minutes later, they were pulled over again for the same thing by an Indiana State trooper, who also allowed them to leave with a warning only.

Kohberger was arrested early Friday morning and charged with murder and burglary. Kohbeger is a doctoral student and teaching assistant in the Department of Criminal Justice and Criminology at Washington State University.

He’s accused of killing Ethan Chapin, 20; Madison Mogen, 21; Xana Kernodle, 20; and Kaylee Goncalves, 21, on November 13. The victims were all stabbed to death inside an off-campus rental home, near the school.

On Tuesday, he waived extradition during a court hearing and is scheduled to return to Idaho within 10 days, where he will face murder and burglary charges.
