Tennessee officials said on Wednesday that a pair of pants discovered earlier that day did not belong to missing teen Sebastian Rogers.
Sumner County Sheriff’s Office Chief Deputy Eric Craddock said that the Goodlettsville Police Department found a pair of pants that they believed was possibly related to Rogers’ disappearance. Officials did not disclose where exactly the pants were found, but Craddock said they do not belong to Rogers, 15, according to The Tennessean.
Rogers, who is autistic, reportedly left behind his phone when he vanished from his Hendersonville home on February 26. The missing 15-year-old lives with his mother and stepfather, Katie and Chris Brownfoot, who claimed the teen left barefoot.
According to WSMV, Sumner County police said they have no evidence of foul play.
Rogers was described as standing 5 feet, 5 inches tall, weighing 106-108 pounds, and having dirty blond hair. He was reportedly last seen wearing a black sweatshirt and black sweatpants.
