The search continues for a missing Missouri woman who was last seen with her boyfriend, who has reportedly confessed to killing her.

Police are searching for 29-year-old Marquisha Williams, who was reported missing on December 20, along with her boyfriend, Trenton Ivy, 31. On December 22, police arrested Ivy and charged him with Williams’ murder, but her location remains unknown.

St. Louis Dispatch reports that Williams was last seen with Ivy in St. Louis, in a 2020 Jeep Compass, near  Cook and Spring avenues. Family members told police that she dropped off her children at daycare, and then never showed up to work.

Police arrested Ivy in Racine, Wisconsin, on charges that included resisting arrest, fleeing from an officer, and using a dangerous weapon. Inside the Jeep, investigators found “biological material,” blood, and some of Williams’ belongings.

While being interviewed by investigators, Ivy allegedly admitted that he killed her after an argument and hid her body in an unknown area. On Wednesday, officials charged him with murder.

FOX 2 Now reports that the search for Williams resumed Thursday morning. Family members met with search volunteers at 9 a.m. Thursday, at Mount Bethel Missionary Baptist Church, off Belt Avenue in St. Louis. They plan to also meet there tomorrow and continue the search on both days until 5 p.m.

“We don’t have her yet. That’s the most critical point; we don’t have her back yet,” Williams’ stepfather, Terrence Chavis explained. “When we get her back, we’ll stop. Until then, we won’t stop.”

Anyone who wants to volunteer in the search should dress for cold weather and bring flashlights and tools to help clear away debris during the search, Williams’ family said.

Meanwhile, Ivy remains behind bars without bail.

The story is developing. Check back for updates.
