An 11-year-old school girl is fighting for her life in hospital after being hit by a car in North London.
The girl was struck by the vehicle around 4.15pm on Friern Barnet Lane in Barnet on Friday, January, 13, 2023 and the driver was arrested.
Police, paramedics and an air ambulance from the London Ambulance Service raced to the horror crash.
She was then rushed to a central hospital and is reportedly in a critical condition.

The driver of the vehicle was arrested and was remanded in police custody.
A Met Police spokesperson said: ‘Officers, the London Ambulance Service and Air Ambulance attended.
‘An 11-year-old girl was taken to a central hospital in a critical condition.
‘The driver of the car has been arrested. The road was closed to traffic.’
The road is still closed according to traffic service Inrix.
The service says: ‘Friern Barnet Lane in both directions closed due to accident between A1003 Woodhouse Road and Buxted Road.
‘Diversion – bus routes 234 and 383 are diverting.’
