Retired Missouri Cop Charged With Molesting Children Over 11 Year Period

Police in Missouri are looking for a retired officer who has been charged with multiple child sex crimes.

Prosecutors have charged Jordan C. Fowle, 57, with two counts of first degree child molestation, five counts of second degree child molestation, second degree sodomy, and second degree sexual abuse, according to KMOV. A no-bond warrant has been issued for his arrest, and the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office says it is “actively looking for him.”

Fowle’s attorney, Richard Lozano, has already requested a bond and said he “strongly denies these allegations.”

Fowle retired from the Town and Country Police Department sometime last year after joining the agency in 1995. He was promoted to sergeant in 2020.

Town and Country Police issued a statement saying it was aware of the charges but didn’t believe any of the offenses took place while Fowle was on duty.

A probable cause statement says the abuse involved two children over an 11 year stretch from 2012 to 2023. One victim said she was 13 when the abuse began in 2012. The second victim told investigators she was 14 when the abuse began in 2019.

Both girls said the abuse took place at Fowle’s home in House Springs.

According to KTVI, court documents say the abuse caused “emotional distress” to both victims. One of them had “several long term stays at mental health facilities” after the abuse.

Town and Country is a small city in west St. Louis County and is part of the Greater St. Louis metropolitan area.
