A married Blaine, Minnesota, mother who was arrested after a “stay-cation” at a hotel with her husband and children early in 2024 has now admitted to sexually abusing two 15-year-old hockey players visiting from Colorado for a tournament, victims she had allegedly acknowledged were “young enough to be her kids.”

Allison Leigh Schardin, now 39, formally changed her plea Friday to admit to third-degree criminal sexual conduct — the crime of “engag[ing] in sexual penetration with anyone under 18 years of age” — and now she reportedly faces the prospect of jail time when she’s sentenced in Jan. 10, 2025.
