Police Ask for Help Finding Missing 15-Year-Old Georgia Girl

Police in southeast Georgia are looking for a 15-year-old girl who hasn’t been seen since Thursday.

The Nahunta Police Department said that Nahlani “Angel” Santiago was reported missing by her family and that they provided a note from the girl indicating she planned to harm herself.

Santiago’s mother said she was wearing a black t-shirt with a moon and star and black and pink pajama pants. She may also be wearing a camouflage jacket and black cloth boots and carrying a black Mercedes Benz Adidas back pack.

Police said the girl may be with a friend and could be at an unoccupied home, possibly in a wooded area. They ask parents to check and monitor their children’s social media accounts as well as to check their property, particularly any vacant homes, for signs of the girl. They also said she is known to frequent The Rink of Waycross, a skating rink in that Georgia town.

Police said they have interviewed family and friends and canvassed local businesses and neighbors for video. Local, state, and federal agencies are assisting.

Santiago is described as 5 feet 3 inches tall and about 90 pounds with brown hair and eyes. She has a birthmark above her left eye and a scar on her elbow.

Anyone with information should contact the Nahunta Police Department at 912-462-5844 or the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children at 1 800 THE LOST.
