A man who was stabbed to death near Abbey Road has been named for the first time.
Ahmed Jama, 29, was found with multiple stab wounds near St John’s Wood just after 7.30pm on Friday, December 29.
He was given first aid by paramedics from London Ambulance Service before being rushed to hospital where he tragically died later that evening.
His grieving family are ‘starting their New Year devastated by their loss’, a police officer said today.
No arrests have been made yet.

Mr Jama’s family are being supported by officers from the Met’s Specialist Crime Command.
Detective Chief Inspector Neil Rawlinson, who is leading the investigation, said: ‘We would like to speak to anyone who either witnessed the stabbing, or has information about who was responsible.
‘Ahmed’s family are starting their New Year devastated by their loss. If you have any information that could help our investigation please get in touch.’
A cordon remained in place for several days at the scene near London’s famous Abbey Road as police launched their murder investigation.
