Oklahoma Martial Arts Instructor Charged With ‘Lewd Molestation’ of At Least 5 Minors

An Oklahoma Taekwondo instructor has been arrested and charged with lewd molestation of at least five minors who had been under his care as an instructor.

Lyndon Cole Jarman, 29, was arrested on Wednesday following “a thorough investigation after several victims and their families provide(d) information to detectives,” the Broken Arrow Police Department said in a statement.

According to KOKI, an investigation into Jarman was launched when a Tulsa County detective received a tip last July from the National Center of Missing and Exploited Children which included a Dropbox link with pictures and videos of child sexual abuse material. The tip was initially made, however, on January 11, 2022, in Austin, Texas.

The Dropbox contained 190 photos and videos of prepubescent males engaged in “sexually explicit behavior with other prepubescent males and adults,” the affidavit said, adding that Jarman had been accessing the Dropbox from his phone.

Investigators learned that Jarman had been accused of sexually assaulting a boy in 2021. That case was initially given to tribal police with the Muscogee Creek Nation but transferred to the FBI when it was learned that Jarman wasn’t a tribal citizen.

The affidavit alleged that Jarman had victims in Tulsa and Wagoner Counties.

“It is possible there could be more victims connected with this investigation,” Broken Arrow Police said.

Jarman was arrested on February 2 for domestic assault and battery of his wife in the presence of a minor in Wagoner County, and the other charges came this week, according to KTUL.
