He was clocked driving his mother’s car at 112 mph at 5 pm that night more than 200 miles from the scene of the crime.

When he was apprehended by Pennsylvania state troopers, the suspect was allegedly found covered in blood, reeking of alcohol and ‘acting erratically.’

‘The operator refused to identify himself and the odor of alcoholic beverage was coming from his breath,’ per a report by the state troopers.

The suspect refused a legal blood draw to test for levels of intoxication. Three alcoholic beverages were found in his mother’s car.

Although a baseball bat was found in the vehicle, police did not confirm whether or not it was the murder weapon.

Doran has been charged with first-degree murder, as well as multiple misdemeanor and summary charges, including recklessly endangering another person, evading arrest and DUI, reckless driving and resisting arrest in Pennsylvania.

He was denied bail by a judge because ‘proof is evident and presumption great that defendant will not comply while on bail,’ according to court records .

Doran is being held in Bedford County, Pennsylvania. He will be extradited to New Jersey.

It is unclear if he has entered a plea at this time.
