CrimeOnline’s Nancy Grace says family members of the quadruple University of Idaho murders victims are voicing concern over how quickly cops have eliminated suspects as the search for the killer continues into its third week.

Speaking with Fox News Digital, Grace said she has concerns that the father of one of the victims was so distraught he hired a private detective while the killer remains elusive. One issue, Grace said, is whether authorities are clearing suspects, such as a reported stalker, too fast.

“They believe that the cops are ruling people out much too quickly,” Grace said about the victims’ families. “I don’t think you can separate a potential stalker, who Kaylee told her father about; she told other people about it, she sold that vehicle, she publicized that she was moving across the country. Are they connected? You can’t rule that out.”

As CrimeOnline previously reported, Madison Mogen, 21; Kaylee Goncalves, 21; Ethan Chapin. 20; and Xana Kernodle, 20, were found stabbed to death in the rented off-campus home near the school, off of King Road, on November 13. Police said they were killed sometime between 3 a.m. and 5 a.m.

So far, no suspects have been named or arrested.

“When I hear Steve Goncalves speaking out, desperate, frustrated [and] angry, and I hear his wife in the background [saying], ‘calm down,’ number one thing you do is you speak to the murder victims’ families,” Grace said.

“And you assure them, you reassure them, you give them enough evidence to know you’re working, you’re going to find the killer. That’s not happening here.”

Meanwhile, the investigation continues.

According to Moscow police, two of the victims were found on the second floor, and another two were found on the third floor of the house, which is built into a hill off campus. Two roommates who were on the first floor were not attacked by the intruder, and police say they do not believe the surviving roommates had anything to do with the murders.

Authorities previously said a sharp-edged knife was used during the attacks.
