Texas police named a suspect Tuesday in the murder of a woman who was found dead the day before.
KLBK reported that Lakaria Moore, 18, vanished on Sunday, and Christopher Carter, 39, was the last person she was seen with. Lubbock police had learned that Carter’s vehicle was located outside city limits before they found Moore’s body in the vicinity.
After finding the car and body, police responded to a residence which is also connected to their ongoing murder investigation. KCBD reported that a search warrant was executed at the residence.
Carter is still at large and should not be approached as he is considered armed and dangerous. Officials did not reveal a motive.
