Three people in New York have been injured after pit bulls escaped a Staten Island home and began attacking random victims.

According to the New York Post, the incident happened on Tuesday afternoon as the pit bulls escaped from a residence off York Avenue in the New Brighton section of Staten Island. Along with a 2-year-old, the dogs attacked a 13-year-old boy and a 19-year-old teen girl. Most of the bites were on the victims’ legs, police said.

The victims were taken to the Richmond University Medical Center with non-life-threatening injuries. They are said to be in stable condition.
