A woman and a baby have been found dead at a home in Perth’s northern suburbs as cops declare a crime scene.

West Australian Police were called to Robinson Road, Morley, just after 11am and found an infant child and a woman inside.

A large crime scene has been established and major crime detectives remain on the scene.

Police have blocked several hundred metres of Robinson Road around the crime scene where officers in black suits could be seen inspecting the area.

One woman who lives nearby told ABC that they first heard a lot of sirens at 11:30am before she checked and saw five police cars and three ambulances outside.

She added that shortly after that time forensic investigators had arrived wearing white jump suits who took a small dog from the house.

WA Police is appealing anyone who might have information on any suspicious activity in the vicinity to contact them.

If anyone needs help they can call Lifeline on 13 11 14 or Beyond Blue on 1300 224 636.
