MORGAN NICK, 6, VANISHES FROM LITTLE LEAGUE GAME, NEVER SEEN AGAIN

Colleen Nick takes her 6-year-old daughter, Morgan, to a baseball game in Alma, Arkansas.

At the field, two children invite Morgan to catch fireflies with them in a green space near the parking lot. As the game ends, the children Morgan was playing with return to the stands, but Morgan is not with them. They explain that Morgan is cleaning sand out of her shoes in the parking lot. Around 10:45 p.m., Colleen goes to get Morgan but cannot find her.

The Alma Police Department and Crawford County Sheriff’s Office initially assume Morgan wandered off. However, witnesses report seeing a man trying to talk to a little blonde girl, and a red truck leaving the parking lot shortly after the girl was last seen. Months later, Alma police receive multiple reports of attempted kidnappings, all involving a red truck.

During one attempt, a bystander records the truck’s license plate number. Authorities trace the vehicle to Billy Jack Lincks, but he denies any connection to Morgan’s disappearance.

Years later, investigators track down Lincks’ truck. Inside, they discover blonde hairs that match Colleen Nick’s DNA, leading them to believe Morgan was once in the vehicle. Lincks, who died in prison five years after Morgan’s disappearance while serving time for unrelated charges, never admitted involvement.

Investigators continue searching for Morgan Nick, uncertain if they will find a now 36-year-old woman or the remains of a little girl. The FBI urges anyone with information about Billy Lincks’ life or Morgan’s case to contact the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children at 1-800-THE-LOST.
