A Louisiana woman was allegedly so fed up with fighting with her two children, ages 12 and 11, that she ditched them both on the side of the road — forcing the kids to schlep roughly four miles to a relative’s house, police say.

Laquesha Washington, 33, allegedly dumped the kids at the intersection of Hollywood Avenue and Broadway Avenue in Shreveport during a “verbal altercation” with them on Wednesday before driving away and leaving them stranded, according to a police press release.

The youngsters told cops Washington abandoned them and they proceeded to walk to a relative’s house in the 1300 block of Andrew Avenue, per the release.

“According to the juveniles, Washington forced them out of her vehicle … before driving away and leaving them alone,” the Shreveport Police Department says.

Washington allegedly called the cops “several hours later” and reported her kids missing. She agreed to meet with officers at her home in the 3400 block of Palm Road, according to the SPD release.

“While officers were still on scene speaking with her, a relative contacted them and informed them that the children had arrived safely,” the press release says, condemning Washington’s alleged actions as “troubling.”

Washington was arrested following an investigation and charged with two counts of criminal neglect of family.

Authorities have contacted the Louisiana Department of Children and Family Services to “ensure the continued safety and well-being of the children,” according to police.
