A missing Washington mother’s call to 911 last week lost connection before dispatchers could locate her, and deputies and friends and family have been searching for her ever since.
Mikayla Standridge, 25, is described as about 100 pounds with blue eyes and blonde and pink hair. She was reportedly last seen running out of a house on Skagit View Drive in Concrete at about 5 a.m. on April 21, the Cascadia Daily News reported.
Standridge’s aunt, Mardi Martone, said she planned to organize a search on Thursday, coordinating with the sheriff’s department. Sheriff’s Deputy Brad Holmes said Wednesday night he didn’t have any details on Thursday’s search plans.
“We have been searching for the last two days,” he said. “I would imagine the search will continue tomorrow but can’t confirm.”
Martone said other members of the family told her that the sheriff’s office planned to put boats on the water on Thursday. Concrete straddles a narrow spit of land between Lake Shannon and the Skagit River, with Skagit View Drive tracing a bend in the river to the east of the town.

“I’m going to sit there, find a deputy and see where their search party is at,” Martone said. “They had search and rescue [near Skagit View Drive] yesterday. Small team. Just looking for clues.”
She said details on Thursday’s search will be on her Facebook page as soon as she knows them.
