Missing TikToker Mom Is Found Murdered After Suspicious Text Is Sent to Fiancé

A north Georgia woman who vanished under suspicious circumstances last week has been found dead, officials said on Tuesday.

Minelys Rodriguez-Ramirez, 25, was last seen at a Walmart in Cornelia on October 22. Rodriguez-Ramirez’s family reported her missing on October 23, five days before Angel DeJesus Rivera-Sanches, 24, was arrested in Atlanta on kidnapping charges related to her case, Atlanta News First reported.

Habersham County Coroner Kasey McEntire said Rodriguez-Ramirez’s remains were located on a road parallel to the Walmart where she was last seen. Though a positive identification has not been made, officials believe it is her due to her distinctive tattoos and clothing.

Rodriguez-Ramirez’s phone was reportedly used to send a text message to her fiancé around the time of her disappearance. The fiancé told Now Habersham that he does not believe she sent it.

“I am waiting for the brother to pick him up,” the text reportedly read.

Officials said they will be filing murder charges against Rivera-Sanches. It is unclear how Rivera-Sanches and Rodriguez-Ramirez are connected; he is not her fiancé. A motive is also undisclosed.

Rodriguez-Ramirez is the mother of a 9-year-old daughter who lives in Puerto Rico with her father.
