Cynthia Martyna Bah-Traore

The loved ones of a Texas woman who vanished in 2021 have endured a heartbreaking reality for more than two years, a pain that aches each passing day.

“I miss my child. I really can’t process it,” Tambra Alvoid told Access Hollywood.

Alvoid is the mother of Cynthia Martyna Bah-Traore, who was last seen at 10:35 p.m. February 3, 2021, in security camera footage from a gas station in Grandview, Texas. At the time, Bah-Traore was driving a metallic blue Mazda CX-5 with Texas license plate NMJ3883 when she went missing.

More than a week would pass before investigators located Bah-Traore’s vehicle at mile marker 335 on Interstate 35 in Waco. Meanwhile, her phone was discovered at the gas station.

Alvoid said her grandson had called her on February 3, 2021, reporting that his mom never made it back home after running errands, Inquisitr reports.

The grandmother said Bah-Traore’s two boys are having a difficult time dealing with their mother’s absence. Alvoid described her daughter as an outgoing and loving person.

The gas station surveillance image showed Bah-Traore wearing black pants, a blue long-sleeved shirt and gray and white shoes. She was holding a red plaid purse, according to NewsBreak.

At the time she vanished, Bah-Traore was 5-foot-6 and about 160 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes. She has no visible tattoos, scars or markings.

Alvoid said she believes someone knows what happened to her daughter and is pleading for that person to come forward.

“Whoever parked her car knows where Cynthia is,” Alvoid told Access Hollywood. “I’m hoping someone will come forward and tell us more information.”

The family has launched a GoFundMe account to raise money for a private investigator.

“Unfortunately, the police department in Crowley has limited time and resources and I am requesting help to hire a private investigator and an attorney to assist with finding Cynthia and solving her mysterious disappearance,” the page reads.

To report information about the case, call the Crowley Police Department at 817-297-2276.
