Central Michigan police are searching for a 3-year-old autistic boy who vanished Monday in the Watertown Township area.
According to Daily World, the child was reported missing at around 2 p.m. Monday and was last seen walking from his home off South Bauer Road in northern Watertown. So far, police have not released the child’s name.
Michigan State Police said he was last seen wearing a blue sweatshirt and gray and blue shorts. He has brown eyes and long curly black hair and wasn’t wearing shoes when he vanished.
“The missing boy is reported to also be a climber and could be in a tree or any other elevated structure,” Clinton County Michigan Sheriff’s Office said.
Several law enforcement agencies, along with volunteers, are currently searching for the boy. Law enforcement is asking resident to check in sheds, under cars, and in other places that a child could possibly hide.

Police said volunteers are welcome at this time. Temperatures in the area are expected to drop to 6°C tonight.
“Any volunteers should meet at the Watertown Township Hall. All volunteers should come dressed appropriately for the operation and the weather. The township hall is located at 12803 S Wacousta Rd, Grand Ledge, MI 48837.” the sheriff’s office posted on Facebook.
