A domestic violence offender has gone missing after facing court for stalking and assault charges.

Sydney personal trainer Nathan Molloy, 24, was reported missing by loved ones after he was last seen in Hurstville, in the city’s south west, at about 11.30am on Wednesday.

A desperate search is now underway to find him, with police and his family holding concerns for his welfare as his behaviour is ‘out of character’.

Daily Mail Australia can reveal Molloy fronted Sutherland local court on Wednesday morning, just hours before he vanished.

In court, he pleaded guilty to assaulting and stalking/intimidating a woman and an Apprehended Violence order was put in place for her protection.

He also is banned from approaching or being around the woman for at least 12 hours after drinking alcohol or taking illicit drugs.

Court records reveal Molloy has had several run-ins with the legal system, however, just nine months ago he revealed he was on a journey to turn his life around.
