The judge overseeing Bryan Kohberger’s murder trial agreed to more time for the prosecution to respond to the defense’s 109-page motion to dismiss the indictment against him.
A hearing on the motion had been scheduled for Friday, but Judge John Judge agreed to reset it for September 22 after public defender Anne Taylor offered no objections to the prosecutor’s request.

The defense motion, which they said contains 24 issues about the indictment. was filed under seal, as CrimeOnline previously reported. The prosecution’s motion said it contained 49 pages of arguments and 60 pages of affidavits and other materials.

Still on tap for Friday is the defense motion to ban cameras on the courtroom, KIVI reported. The prosecution has not filed a response thus far, and it’s not clear they will.
The judge did sign an order for Court TV to act as pool for the hearing, however.
