A 54-year-old Michigan man has been sentenced to serve 35 to 55 years in prison for hitting and killing his fiancee‘s ex, a lifelong dirt biker, with his truck last year after the 29-year-old revved his bike at him. Prosecutors reportedly described the murder as a “crime of jealousy” and “passion” during the man’s trial — saying, “It’s unfortunate that it costs him his life.”

“This case is over a year old,” said Isabella County prosecuting attorney David Barberi after Allen Sprague’s conviction was handed down last month, according to local CBS affiliate WWTV. “I’m just happy for the family that they are finally able to have an opportunity to begin the healing process. And some justice has been solid.”
