A Florida boyfriend apparently mad about a breakup with his girlfriend allegedly injected bleach into her Tito’s vodka bottle and facial products.
Edwin Guzman, 23, stands accused of poisoning food, water or medicine with intent to kill or injure, the Volusia County Sheriff’s Office said.
Guzman and the victim had been dating and living together for some two years but ended their relationship, according to a probable cause arrest affidavit. On Monday, the victim and her uncle went to Guzman’s home to gather the last of her possessions, which included the Tito’s vodka bottle and some facial care products.
“He has all my stuff on the floor, literally in the driveway,” she told cops.

They went back to her uncle’s house and decided to take a shot of the vodka.
“Immediately after [the uncle] took his shot, he spit it out and stated there was bleach mixed in the vodka,” cops wrote.
The victims also realized bleach was in her facial products, per the affidavit. They called deputies.
“Instantly, the minute I put it in my mouth, it just reeked of bleach,” the uncle recounted to cops.
