A 3-month-old baby girl was found dead Sunday night near a homeless shelter in the Bronx where she lived with her family.
The infant, identified as Genevieve Comager, was found at about 8:30 p.m. off the Major Deegan Expressway, WABC reported.
Police said they launched a search for the baby when a family member reported her missing from the shelter.
Investigators have questioned a 23-year-old man and a 20-year-old woman, believed to be the baby’s parents.
The medical examiner will determine the cause of death. No arrests have been made.
