Cops in Texas made a horrifying discovery when they found a decapitated body in the living room of a San Antonio home and the severed head in the bathtub, according to media reports.
Citing an arrest affidavit, local CBS affiliate KENS reported San Antonio police were called around 10:15 p.m. Friday for a suspicious person after a man was looking into parked vehicles. When officers got there, they approached the man, later identified as 35-year-old Bradley Adam Dimmick.
“I just killed somebody,” Dimmick reportedly said.
He allegedly said he killed a person named “Dimmick” in a home about a mile away. Cops went to the home and immediately saw blood inside the front door, the affidavit said.
Officers went inside and saw a dead dog near the front door. Then they went to the living room and found a man’s headless body. The victim, identified as 65-year-old Keith Dimmick, had a “large stomach wound” with his “intestines extruding” from his body, according to the affidavit. The dog had similar injuries.

Police followed a trail of dried blood which led them to the severed head in the bathtub, detectives wrote.
There were three surveillance cameras in the home, including one that was pointed toward Keith Dimmick’s body, they said.
It’s unclear to police when the homicide occurred, but detectives noted in the affidavit that there were missed notifications on Keith Dimmick’s cell phone dating back to 9:19 a.m. on Oct 13.
Detectives also did not say how the Dimmicks were related but Bradley’s address listed in the affidavit is where the grisly slaying occurred.
Court records show Bradley Dimmick is facing first-degree murder and animal cruelty charges. He’s at the Bexar County Jail on a $1.5 million bond.
