A North Carolina man who was recently released from prison is behind bars again after police said he killed his mother and teenage brother.

Da’Ron Donta Jenkins, 25, was back at his mother’s home in Wilson, North Carolina, for only a few days before police responded to “an unknown type call” at the residence on March 31, according to reporting by WTVD, a local ABC affiliate. When officers arrived, they found Dana Jenkins, 50, and her son Daryn Cox, 15, dead at the scene. Police said the suspect in the alleged killings is Dana Jenkins’ son and Daryn Cox’s brother.
