Guidance counselor accused of grooming 14-year-old boy into a romantic and sexual relationship allegedly communicated with him on school district messaging app

A middle school counselor in Pennsylvania allegedly groomed a 14-year-old boy beginning in 2022 and engaged in a sexual relationship with him through this past summer, according to authorities.

Kelly Ann Schutte, 35, stands accused of three counts of institutional sexual assault/school – intercourse or sexual contact with a student, three counts of indecent assault of a person less than 16 years old, as well as one count of corruption of minors, according to Montgomery County court records reviewed by Law&Crime.

The Pennridge South Middle School counselor was arrested on Thursday. She had been on administrative leave for months prior.
