Two California men are behind bars after police said they allegedly attacked another man while waiting in line to buy Pokemon cards.

In a press release posted to Facebook, the Colma Police Department stated that 27-year-old Isaiah Calles and 49-year-old Miguel Orellanas Flores were arrested on Saturday and charged with several felonies in connection to an incident at a GameStop store. Police said that at 9:22 a.m. that day, officers responded to reports of a “physical altercation” between several individuals at the store. When they arrived, they found an unnamed person suffering from life-threatening injuries that included “lacerations to the head and multiple stab wounds.”

Witnesses said the suspects left the scene in separate cars after the alleged altercation, which happened while everyone involved was waiting in line to buy Pokemon cards.

According to police, Flores reportedly tried to cut in line, and a verbal argument between him and the alleged victim ensued. As the fight escalated, Flores got his hands on a mason jar and allegedly smashed it over the victim”s head. Calles then allegedly stabbed the victim with the broken shards of glass “multiple times.”

Police did not provide information about any connection or relationship between Flores and Calles.
