GRAPHIC: Child Therapist Sent Videos of Babies Being Sexually Assaulted, Feds Say

Federal authorities arrested a New York woman last week for allegedly disseminating sexually explicit videos of children as young as six months.

Newsday reported that Renee Hoberman, 36, a child therapist for LifeStance Health in Melville, was arrested Wednesday for crimes she committed online while posing as a man. Hoberman reportedly also has been a youth counselor at an Amityville hospital since 2016.

Between June and October, Hoberman allegedly sent videos of child sexual abuse and partook in online conversations about child molestation. According to the New York Daily News, Hoberman posed as a man online to claim she raped children in front of other people — in addition to inviting other users to watch her spank them.

“Hoberman allegedly used social media messaging apps to upload digital videos depicting one or more minors engaging in sexually explicit conduct, including several videos of infants six months to one year of age being physically restrained and raped by an adult male, as the infants cried and frantically screamed for the duration of the videos,” federal authorities said.

Hoberman told federal agents that it sexually aroused her to see children — from infancy to the age of three — being sexually abused, the New York Daily News reported.

On Wednesday, Hoberman pleaded not guilty to distributing child pornography. She remains jailed without bond.
