An Oklahoma man faces first-degree murder charges after sheriffs say he stabbed his grandmother to death and then attacked his wheelchair-bound father with a knife, stabbing him more than 20 times.

Nicholas Scarborough, 30, is charged with murder in the death of his 79-year-old grandmother Dorothy Newton. His father is in critical condition, according to a statement from the Wagoner County Sheriff’s Office said in a statement posted to Facebook on Thursday. Local CBS affiliate KOTV identified the suspect’s father as Daniel Scarborough.
