Developing: Georgia Teen Charged with First-Degree Murder Nearly 5 Months After Mother and Stepfather’s Deaths

Georgia teen Sarah Grace Patrick, accused of killing her mother and stepfather, allegedly used TikTok to seek sympathy and help in finding their murderer(s) before her arrest.

Disturbing TikTok posts have emerged showing Patrick, 17, asking for sympathy and assistance in solving her parents’ murders. Her much younger sister found their bodies shot to death in bed on February 20, as reported by The New York Post.

Patrick posted seemingly sympathetic TikTok videos, sharing memories and mourning her mother, Kristen Brock, 41, and her stepfather, James Brock, 45. She requested “prayers” and expressed how much she missed them.

“If you asked me about my mom and stepdad, I’d say I miss them so much,” Patrick wrote across a video featuring her and her parents, according to The New York Post.

As previously reported by CrimeOnline, Patrick, who initially contacted emergency services after her sister discovered their parents, was charged on July 8 with their murders in Tyus, a rural community near Carrollton.

On March 1, Patrick posted a collage of her mom and stepfather, writing, “They don’t know it but a year from now me and my 5-year-old sister will find them wrongfully shot dead in our home and won’t get to watch me graduate high school, see me walk down the aisle, and couldn’t even say goodbye.”

The New York Post reported that @AllegedlyReportedly, a true crime TikToker, claimed in a video, “Why would you ask me to cover a case where you are going to get arrested for taking your parents’ lives?” The TikToker alleged that Patrick had asked her to cover her parents’ murders and showed messages purportedly from Patrick.

“She messaged me on June 3 and said, ‘Look up Brock case.’ So I said, ‘Brock Turner? Brock, who?’” recounted the TikToker.

“She said, ‘Kristen and James Brock.’ They’re my parents, and out of nowhere, a random Thursday night in February, someone came into my house with me and my five-year-old sister and left my parents for me and my sister to wake up to.”

The motive for the killings is still under investigation by authorities. Carroll County Sheriff’s Office spokeswoman Ashley Hulsey stated that they are investigating leads and there may be more arrests. According to FOX 5 Atlanta,

Patrick is facing two counts of murder and two counts of aggravated assault. If convicted, she faces life in prison without the possibility of parole, as reported by The New York Post.
