A North Georgia city’s deputy police chief has been placed on administrative leave after he was arrested in Florida for soliciting prostitution.

The Cartersville Police Department said that Jason DiPrima was arrested in Polk County, Florida, on Thursday.

“Deputy Chief DiPrima has been placed on administrative leave pending an internal investigation,” the department said in a post on Facebook.

The department referred all other questions to Florida authorities.

DePrima was not listed in online databases of Polk County inmates or court filings.
