Florida police are searching for a man they say shot to death a 40-year-old woman and her three children early Tuesday morning.
Investigators weren’t called to the scene in Lake Wales until early Tuesday evening, after family members discovered the bodies, WTVT reported.
The woman’s children were a 20-year-old son and 17- and 11-year-old daughters. Their names are not being released because of Florida law that prohibits the release of crime victim names by police.
Detectives say they believe Al Joselph Stenson, 38, killed the victims around 5 a.m. Tuesday. They did not describe the relationship between Stenson and the victims, but neighbors said he was the children’s father.
Officials said they know where Stenson is and are working to take him into custody on an arrest warrant charging him with four counts of first-degree murder.

Neighbors told WTVT the mother was a teacher at a local elementary school where the 11-year-old was a student. The 17-year-old was a high school senior preparing to graduate, they said.
