Miami ABC affiliate WPLG obtained an arrest report that says the incident occurred June 21 at the Ross at 14840 N. Kendall Dr. The girl told Miami-Dade police that she was shopping at the store when patrons came up to her and told her that a man wearing a Miami Dolphins hat and holding a syringe squirted an unknown liquid on the back of her jean shorts and then started filming her. Witnesses reportedly told store employees of the incident who called cops. The suspect fled before deputies arrived.
Cops were also investigating a similar incident in June with a suspect wearing a Dolphins hat. Detectives reportedly identified Uribe as a suspect and obtained a search warrant at his west Miami-Dade home. Officers allegedly recovered three syringes with a “viscus white liquid, consistent with semen” inside his bedroom. They also found the same clothes surveillance video showed the suspect was wearing, the affidavit reportedly said.
Uribe was taken to Miami-Dade Corrections and Rehabilitation on Thursday. He remains there on an $8,500 bond, records show.
According to court records, Uribe was arrested June 19 — two days before the alleged incident at Ross — for a misdemeanor battery charge. He was released on his own recognizance. That case has a trial hearing scheduled for Oct. 28.
