Florida Felon Points Gun at Bar Patron After Karoake Night Ruined by Malfunctioning Equipment

A Florida man was arrested earlier this month he pointed a gun at another bar patron when karaoke night went awry.

Aaron Jablonski, 34, is a convicted felon and therefore barred from even having a gun, but that apparently didn’t stop him. He’s charged with aggravated assault and being a felon in possession of a gun, according to the Pinellas County Sheriff’s Office.

An arrest affidavit says that Jablonski was at the Overtime Sports Bar in Clearwater on March 15 and “became upset” because the karaoke machine malfunctioned, Law&Crime reported. He eventually went outside, where he encountered another patron who tried to calm him down.

At that point, Jablonski pulled the gun he was not allowed to have out of his wasteband, pointed it at the other man, and said, “I don’t f****** care.”

Fortunately, he didn’t pull the trigger.

Jablonski “racked a round out of his gun” as the other man went inside and called 911.

He as arrested later that night and held on a $40,000 bond until his release three days later. He was given a no contact with the victim order as well as being barred from the club.

Law&Crime was not able to determine what felony prevented Jablonski from owning a gun.
