Fight over $100 leaves mother of 2 dead after man runs her and friend over with truck: Police

A Texas mother of two young girls is dead and a man was hospitalized after Luis Antonio Garza allegedly ran both adults over with his truck after getting into an argument over $100.

Garza, 26, is charged with murder as well as aggravated assault with a deadly weapon — his truck — and remains in detention, according to a spokesperson from the Hidalgo County Sheriff’s Office. His bond is set at $1 million.
