East Lismore, NSW: Father and his two-year-old son are found dead in a home during welfare check

A man and a two-year-old boy have been found dead inside a home in northern NSW.

NSW Police were called to a unit on College Street in East Lismore at about 9.45pm on Sunday to perform a welfare check.

A 38-year-old man and a two-year-old boy were found dead in the property.

Detectives have declared a crime scene and launched an investigation.

A report will be prepared for the coroner.
