A New York state man whose drug-related sentence was commuted by President Donald Trump in 2021 was arrested over the weekend after attacking a man and his 3-year-old child during a Sabbath dinner, according to law enforcement in the Empire State.

Jonathan Braun, 41, now stands accused of one count each of assault in the second degree, third-degree assault, and endangering the welfare of a child, according to Nassau County District Court records.

The misdemeanor charges mark the fourth time the defendant has been arrested since he was freed on the last day of Trump’s first term.

Braun currently faces a combined seven counts against him.
