Marvel Studios released its latest superhero series to Disney+ on Wednesday with the Hawkeye spin-off seeing actress Alaqua Cox reprise her role as Maya Lopez.

Echo is the action packed origin story of the Choctaw superhero who has fled New York City after shooting supervillain crime lord Wilson Fisk (Vincent D’Onofrio).

But the best thing about the Sydney Freeland and Catriona McKenzie directed five-part series? It’s the first Marvel show to release all of its episodes at once.

Fans can now view all five episodes on Disney+ and watch in suspense as Maya – a deaf amputee – explores her superhero origins and Native American roots.

‘No bad deed goes unpunished’ as the adopted daughter of Wilson – villain name Kingpin – returns home to confront her own family and legacy.

The thrilling series picks up from the finale of Hawkeye which saw Maya shoot Wilson in the head after discovering he set up her real father to be killed.

But alas, the Kingpin can’t be taken down that easy as he returns in Echo with an eyepatch over his bullet wound.

‘Maya. I see everything that you are. I always have,’ the super strong crime lord tells her in the heart racing trailer.

‘You have so much pain in you. So much rage. That you can’t contain it. You and I are the same. So, who’s the monster?’ he added.
