‘Does it feel good, bro? I’m going to kill your family!’: Man shot acquaintance and burned his body in driveway after argument over stolen motorcycle

A California man was found guilty of murdering an acquaintance before burning his body outside his home after an argument over the victim’s stolen motorcycle.

Steven Ronald Schlapia, 60, was found guilty on Wednesday of killing Jimmy Wade Schwerdt, 47, online court records show. Schlapia was found guilty of first-degree murder, torture, mayhem, assault with a semiautomatic firearm, arson, possession of a firearm by a felon, and possession of ammunition.
