Police have apprehended a suspect after shots were reportedly fired on Monday at the University of North Carolina-Chapel Hill.
WRAL reported that graduate student Tailei Qi was identified as a person of interest after campus police released a photo that matched his school profile. Officials have not released information regarding any injuries.

WRAL reported that they received a photo of the handcuffed gunman sitting on the ground in a residential area. Per the news outlet, schools in the Chapel Hill-Carrboro City Schools district have received the go-ahead to dismiss students.
