The Maricopa County Attorney’s Office in Arizona initiated the process Wednesday of extraditing “cult mom” Lori Vallow from Idaho to Arizona to face conspiracy charges in the death of her fourth husband.
“Now that Ms. Vallow has been sentenced in Idaho, the Maricopa County Attorney’s Office will begin extradition of Ms. Vallow to Arizona for charges she is facing in Maricopa County,” the Maricopa County Attorney’s Office said in a statement, according to KDAN.
“Once the paperwork for the governor’s requisition has been filed with the Governor of Arizona, the process typically takes 90-120 days for extradition.”
The extradition process comes days after Vallow was sentenced to life in prison for murdering her two children, Tylee Ryan, 15, and Joshua “JJ” Vallow, 7, and conspiring to kill her husband Chad Daybell’s late wife, Tammy Daybell.
As CrimeOnline reported, Idaho District Court Judge Steven Boyce sentenced Vallow to life without parole last week, after both children wee found dead in shallow graves on Chad Daybell’s Rexburg, Idaho, property in 2020, nine months after they were reported missing.
Tammy Daybell was found murdered in her bed in 2019.

Vallow Daybell received the following sentences, to be served consecutively:
- Tylee Ryan’s first-degree murder: Life without parole
- conspiracy: Life without parole
- J.J. Vallow’s first-degree murder: Life without parole
- conspiracy: Life without parole
- Conspiring Tammy Daybell’s first-degree murder: Life without parole
- Grand theft by deception (2 counts): 5-10 years in prison
Chad Daybell, is facing the same charges but he has not yet stood trial.
