Police have arrested two more people in relation to the investigation into the destruction of Britain’s ‘wonkiest pub’.
Staffordshire Police confirmed they have detained a 34-year-old woman and a 44-year-old man from Leicestershire ‘on suspicion of conspiracy to commit arson with intent or being reckless as to whether life was endangered’.
The latest arrests took place on Wednesday and the pair have been released on conditional bail while detectives continue their investigation into the incident.

The Crooked House pub in Staffordshire has devastated by a fire on August 5 and the demolition of the site took place two days later.
Earlier, Staffordshire Police arrested three men, aged 66, 51 and 33 on suspicion of arson with intent to endanger life. They were all released on bail pending further investigation.
In its latest appeal, Staffordshire Police said: ‘We are still asking those people who might have information which can help us to get in touch if they haven’t already.
