Geoffrey Kay-Conway Sr. (Montgomery County District Attorney’s Office).

A Pennsylvania man will spend the next several years — and possibly several decades — behind bars for an elaborate plan to kidnap, rape, and murder his estranged wife that ultimately failed.

In September, Geoffrey Kay-Conway Sr., 53, pleaded guilty to four counts out of the myriad charges he was originally arrested for in relation to the scheme.

On Thursday, he was sentenced to 15 to 30 years in state prison.
